The Gaslight Art and Wine LLC, is an upscale unique Wine Bar and Wine Shop, located on John's Island, SC, and situated between Historic Charleston SC, and the Sanctuary Resort at Kiawah Island SC. The Gaslight is the perfect stop for any wine, art, and animal lover visiting the Charleston Area. Owner Mitch Mitchell describes The Gaslight on Johns Island as casually elegant. Our customers tell us, that we are like a Hidden Jewel, and that the bar reminds them of a Classic Speakeasy, with the Jazz Music, the wooden polished bar, and beautiful art hanging on the walls. Our menu offers Beer and Wines by the glass, as well as wine may be purchased for carryout. We serve Cheese Plates, our Chef's Charcuterie Special, as well as desserts with paired wines.

When dining next door at the Fat Hen Restaurant,  thanks to Chef/Owner Fred Neuville, you may purchase your wine at The Gaslight with a 10% discount and receive free corkage with your dinner.

Everyone is welcome at The Gaslight! Please stop in on the way home or come in and have Wine and Cheese while waiting for dinner at the great restaurants nearby. We recommend The Fat Hen, and Wild Olive on Maybank Hwy, Crave on Bohicket Rd., and Heges in Freshfields Market, all on John's Island and friends of The Gaslight.  

The Gaslight features Lost Dog Wines, with a portion of it proceeds are used to help many local pet rescue organization. We hope you will bring your four-legged friends to visit us in the Garden Patio, and join us for a glass of wine. Doggie water bowls and Puppy Crack dog treats are always on hand, as we are a pet-friendly business.
